Laurie Staff (Shearer) passed away June of 1980. She sang at my wedding in October 1978 and her voice was as beautful as always. She was happily married to Jim Staff
I still remember the sadness we shared at our 10th year reunion at the Elks Club in 1980 when classmates were reminiscing about Laurie, who had died shortly before, on June 8th. I am thinking that I had heard back then that Laurie had already paid her fee for that reunion.
