Suzan and I have a blended family of three young adults. Robin born 1983, Holley born 1984 and Nick More…born 1986. Robin is an artist/photographer living in the Portland. Holley is a business graduate of WSU. She worked for the family company a while but now manages a funeral home and event center in Richland. She is married and has two teenagers. . Nick started a Powder Coating company 3 years ago in Pasco. He also is the father of 2 of my grandsons and 2 granddaughters that I dearly love.
Brief Bio:

I can always tell how long someone has know me if they call me Dick, I know I have known them for a long time. I like it but having to sign so much paperwork as Richard, I just started going by Richard. After graduation, I worked with my father for a while on the family farm. I married in 1972. I just wasn't that happy being a farmer. I had learned to fly while in high school and loved it. I thought I could be a bush pilot or mission pilot but my eyes were not good enough for a commercial Pilots license so I worked as an aircraft mechanic. In 1983 I started my own company (Bogert Aviation). Bogert Aviation started manufacturing aircraft parts and special tools for aviation. I divorced in 1996. I married Suzan in 1998. We have been having a pretty good time.
We have gone on to design and build products for the Army, USMC, the USAF, NASA, SPACEX and Rivian. Today we manufacture commercial jack and lifting equipment as "SAFE JACK. I also design marine products under the dba of Uncle Norm's Marine Products

I became a ham radio operator about 6 years ago. I am involved in the the ham radio community. I like boating and fishing. I like shooting and archery (It's a good thing I do it for fun because I'm not very good at either anymore.) .
Sue and I have a Cabin at Twin Lakes on the Colville Indian Reservation that we use a lot during the Summer. We bought a home in Surprise, AZ a couple of years ago for the winter. It was a big change for me. I'm still working but doing it remotely to see how that works. I am taking some interesting clases, writing my memoirs and a fiction novel.

Tom, have a happy birthday. I hope someone does something incredibly nice for you. Tell the story about how the two of us collided at football practice. We hit so hard, we were both knocked down and practice paused. Coach Potter walks over and showing his concern says, "Get up off the ground and get to work." I'm proud of you Tom. You have done well.

Sue, I hope that this is a happy birthday for you. I have wondered how you are doing. I have tried to contact you but my information must not be current anymore. Regardless, I do hope that you are well and doing fine. If you want to talk, I'm not hard to find, just Google Richard Bogert. My wife (Suzan) and I are wintering in Arizona. I am pretty close to finishing my first novel that is set during the Civil War. Some of the characters are based on the girls that I knew in my youth. You might be in there somewhere?

Nancie, I hope you are still crazy and I hope you have a wonderful birthday. Suzan and I are heading South soon. We will spend the winter in AZ. I'm keeping busy. I'm still working. Tom, when I think of you, I remember when the two of us collided at foot ball practice. I had never gotten hit that hard. We hit so hard that the whole practice stopped. We were both laying there and Potter said, "Are you two done fooling around?" I hope you are getting along alright. You have a lot of grand kids to spoil. I hope you have a wonderful birthday.
